Tact offer a complete installation service including subfloor preparation to ensure that your floor surface meets your requirements.

Measuring, Estimating & Design Service

To help us to help you:  when you contact us, have the dimensions of your project ready, and if it's complicated send us some pictures.  This will help us to work out what you need.  If you like what we say then we may (if necessary) make an initial site visit.  Generally this is free but we may make a small charge for outlying areas.  Once we meet with you on site we can show you samples, take measurements and discuss your requirements in more detail.  We will then produce a quotation together with design options if appropriate.

Balconies, Terraces & Garages

Most of our customers opt to carry out these installations on a DiY basis, but if you are unable to do this, we will provide a quotation for carrying out the work for you.  Mostly these installations are straightforward and do not require a site visit.  We will, however, ask you for accurate measurements and maybe some digital pictures.

Swimming Pool Surrounds and Changing Room areas

Some customers are happy to carry out their poolside refurbishment themselves, but where there is substrate work involved Tact can do this for you.  We can remove old carpet or rubber crumb, level up paving stones, create new concrete areas or repair damaged or loose ceramic tiles.  We then coat the substrate with Poolcoat which is a chemcial resistant coating which will seal the substrate prior to the applicaton of TactTiles.  The final finish is a clean and hygienic surface which is comfortable and slip resistant for bare feet. Any of our free draining tiles can be used in these wet floor areas (including changing rooms) and we have a variety of colours and styles to choose from.  For more information on poolsides and wet floor areas  take a look at our commercial site.

Tennis Courts, Sports Floors & Play Areas

TactTiles Tennis Courts, Sports Floors and Play Areas can be laid indoors or outside and on a variety of substrates.  TactTiles Tennis are ideal for refurbishing old courts.  If the substrate is reasonably level, then this can be done on a DiY basis with a small team of helpers.  As the white lines are part of the court, there is no painting or finishing work to do.  However, it is a big job and Tact can carry out the installation for you including a substrate repair or preparation works.  Our Play Areas come in a range of bright colours and we can create a design especially for you, including a logo, roadway, 'traffic lights' and hopskotch.  For more information  take a look at our commercial site.
