About Us
Who we are
Tact Enviro Ltd was established in 1999 by John and Pippa Highnam and is based at Langport in the heart of the Somerset Levels. Tact is a family business with a strong ethos of customer care and commitment to quality.
Tact is no ordinary flooring business; it specialises in solving flooring problems and providing effective solutions to unusual applications. Many of Tact's products are modular and easy to install by the competent DIYer but for the larger, or more complex installations, Tact has a team of fitters who will travel all over the UK and Ireland.
What we do
Tact's main brand is its 'own label' TactTiles which they exclusively distribute for a Swedish manufacturer, Bergo Flooring AB. TactTiles are a particularly high quality injection moulded polypropylene tile system, with a multitude of uses from balcony flooring to sports flooring.
Tact also stocks top quality flooring brand Forbo, the manufacturer of Marmoleum sports flooring and other exciting modular products for both domestic and commercial use. Also AquaStep, a waterproof wood effect flooring suitable for halls and gyms as well as domestic use.
Following the initial success of TactTiles, the company has expanded its operations into the sports flooring and leisure markets; clients include schools, leisure centres and local authorities. Tact also supply industrial flooring, including warehouse and factory floors, shops, offices and libraries. Domestic customers find Tact can solve flooring problems for applications such as balconies, terraces, garages, pool and spa surrounds, home gyms and home sports courts.
