Tact is no ordinary flooring business; it specialises in solving flooring problems and providing effective solutions to unusual applications. Most of our products are modular and easy to install by the competent DIYer but for the larger, or more complex installations, we have a team of fitters who travel all over the UK and Ireland. Modular flooring surfaces - no glues or fixing normally required - environmentally friendly and re-cyclable. Rapid fitting and low impact to you and your environment is what we aim for with durable, cost effective service life. Our floors create that WOW factor pleasing our customers, leading to superb & heart warming case studies.

Main flooring brand is TactTiles which we distribute exclusively in the UK and Ireland for Swedish manufacturer, Bergo Flooring AB. TactTiles are a high quality injection-moulded polypropylene flooring system, with a multitude of uses from balcony surfaces to sports flooring.

Forbo, the manufacturer of Marmoleum sports flooring and other exciting modular products for both domestic and commercial use is also stocked. For indoor play and domestic use, Tact supply an exciting and innovative range for carpet tiles from top brand Heuga.

Following the success of TactTiles, we have expanded into the sports surfacing and leisure markets; clients include schools, leisure centres and local authorities. Tact also supply industrial flooring, including warehouse and factory floors, shops, offices and libraries. Domestic customer applications such as balconies, terraces, garages, pool and spa surrounds, home gyms and home sports courts.

Who we are

Tact Enviro Ltd was established in 1999 by John and Pippa Highnam and is based at Langport in the heart of the Somerset Levels. Tact is a family business with a strong ethos of customer care and commitment to quality.  Tact is a commercial affiliate member of the Institure of Sports & Recreation Management, a member of the Federation of Small Businesses & Somerset Chamber of Commerce.
