The Metro interlocking floor tile has a perforated network pattern making this tile ideal for wet floor environments. With a comfortable anti-slip surface which quickly drains water away, it is ideal for balconies and terraces where there is a firm substrate.

Metro interlocking flooring is easy to uplift for cleaning and will not harbour bacteria giving a clean environment for bare feet. Metro can also be used for swimming pool and spa surrounds, hot tub surrounds, balconies, garden patios, cellars and utility areas.

Pattern

The Metro floor tile has a rounded 'snowflake' pattern and flexible connections between the tiles. The holes in the tile allow water to drain and air to circulate. They also create grip for the feet. The interlocking tiles fit with a slight gap between each which allows for thermal expansion and creates a paved effect. Metro flooring is free draining underneath and easy to lift up if required for cleaning underneath.

Edges

Edges are required in doorways and along exposed edges to provide a neat finish and prevent a trip hazard. Edgetiles can clip onto any side of the Metro tile. Edges are available in the whole colour range.

Corners

Corners are required where 2 outer Edgetiles meet. Corners are available in the whole colour range.

Can these tiles be cut to adjust to an area?

Hi Mr Perith

Your email has been overlooked - my most sincere apologies.

TactTiles handle and cut just like plywood. So yes you can readily cut to fit. Use a wood saw, electric jig-saw, bandsaw or benchsaw with fine teeth blades

Have you already solved this flooring problem?

Regards

John

Hi, I need to protect a rubber membrane covered domestic balcony floor covering (approx 10mts). Are both the Metro and Piazza suitable for this and what is the benefit (if any) of the Piazza over the Metro or is it just a diffrernt pattern. Regards Ian

Piazza has slight different construction, and is more suitable for membrane covered surfaces, whereas Metro is more appropriate to cover a solid sub-surface.
