Piazza is our top selling interlocking floor tile for balconies, garden patios and terraces. Piazza is strong, very well supported underneath and very smart. Our customers love it. The clever perforated linear design is quite different from the other tiles in the range and creates a most attractive diamond shaded effect on the floor. Piazza is absolutely ideal for putting on tarred and felted balconies, or welded roofing products, where it will not damage the surface.

Pattern

Piazza has a linear pattern. When the tiles are placed together a pleasing diamond effect is observed. Each tile is sectioned from corner to corner, each triangle thus created has lines running towards the centre of the tile. These lines create linear holes in the tile which allows water to drain and air to circulate. They also create grip for the feet.

Edges

Edges are required in doorways and along exposed edges to provide a neat finish and prevent a trip hazard. Edgetiles can clip onto any side of the Piazza tile. Edges are available in the whole colour range.

Corners

Corners are required where 2 outer Edgetiles meet. Corners are available in the whole colour range.

5 stars Utility Room Flooring Written by Website Staff

Just to let you know how pleased we are with the tiles. Just completed the utility area at the back of the garage. Can't wait to measure the balcony in France to give it the same treatment next spring! Service was great - and they truly were easy to lay! Many thanks, Denise Veasey.

5 stars Excellent Written by Mavis Twyford

Thankyou for your efficient and speedy service. We laid our tiles immediately in June 09 and it was very easy and we are very pleased with the results. They have now been tested throughout the summer and have performed very well. It is very useful that they could be easily taken up, hosed down and replaced to look like new. We had a few tiles left over which we use for the access area for our motorhome and they could also be used as tracking if we were to get stuck on site! We are so glad we found them.

Mrs Rouzee rang to ask for some brochures to give to people who were not on the internet.  She said she is delighted with the tiles and they get a lot of interest from their friends.

5 stars Just what I needed! Written by Andrew N

I had my little balcony renewed and my roofer had great difficulty in finding a suitable 'sacrificial layer'. I did a web search and found Piazza tiles at Tacttiles. They proved to be exactly what I needed - easy to lay and trim where necessary, good-looking, hard wearing and not bank-breaking. I was so pleased that I passed the samples sent to me on to my roofer, who was equally inpressed. Add to everything else the fact that the staff were helpful and friendly, and what more can a person ask for. Thank you, Tacttiles.

I am interested in your Piazza floor tiles for a balcony which is finished in built up felt. The shape of the balcony is like a 50pence piece. Could the tiles be laid where the connecting edges are not 90 degrees. The total area is approx 24 sq metres. Thank you Barry Cocker

Dear Barry

In the case of your balcony, you should start laying at the longest side going right across the balcony and then cutting the tiles to fit the angled shapes as you fill in the rest of the area.  The tiles should all connect and it is only the outer edges of them that will be cut.  Other customers have managed to lay them on some very odd shaped balconies!  Use a jig saw or a hacksaw to cut the tiles and any swarf can be picked off to give a clean finish.

If you would like to talk this through with us, then do please call on 01458 253395 and we will be happy to help.

Kind regards

Pippa

We have a1st foor exsternal walkway to three apartments. Currently it is lined with Alvetra Rubberised Covering, onto which are placed interlocking rubber tiles. These tiles need replacing, Are your products such as Piazza's suitable for laying on to the Alvitra without sticking down with an addisive or should the edge tiles be stuck down. Your advice would be greatly welcomed..

Hello John

Thank you for your enquiry.

Our "Piazza" tile is the only tile we recommend to be laid on a singleply membrane such as the "Alwetra" system due to the load bearing construction on the underside of the tile, so in this instance it would be ideal.

Our portfolio of "TactTiles" are all loose laid, no adhesives, solvents or fixings required. They are a completely UV stable/UV resistant polypropylene tile which would give many years of wear.

Due to there unique construction they are an anti-slip, self-draining, anti-bacterial surface which simply click together like "Lego"

If you require edge tiles they also simply click into the uncut edge of a tile. A complete modular system!

I hope this is of help and if you require any further asisstance please dont hesitate to call.

Regards

The Tact Team
