This lovely pool room is a great place for all the family to enjoy. The owners wanted a safe surround for their grandchildren and an attractive and easy care floor for their relaxation area. Cleaning issues - what cleaning issues they state? It just gets lifted on an annual rosta and vacuumed out whenever required.

TactTiles & a coat of paint works wonders

 

This complete refurbishment of a school pool involved coating walls and steelwork, applying Poolcoat sealer to the flagstone floor and then laying Pedestrian tiles. The bright colours really enhance this pool area and give a safe, clean surface for the children. Another safer secondary school pool surround bringing peace fo mind to teachers and parents alike.

Safe play area for children


A safe, anti-slip play area at a public pool. The Tact team removed a very grungy carpet before laying colourful Pedestrian tiles. The staff find the area much cleaner and the tiles are safe for little feet.

Covering slippery decking

 

This modern leisure centre enhanced their outdoor pool area by installing Piazza tiles in Sand over some slippery decking.  The sand colour looks natural in the outdoor surroundings and provides a safe and stylish sunlounger area. Nothing worse than trying to stand safely on wet decking - slippery decking problem rapidly solved with TactTiles.

The Stiff family  have a lovely chalet style poolrom, complete with exercise equiment area, at the end of their garden.  The pool surround area was finished with a synthetic carpet. Over the years this had become pregreeively more waterlogged and was beginning to rot.  The smell in the pool room had become unaccepetable.  Mr Stiff reports Tacttiles have proved free-draining and anti-slip, which alleviates the problems of standing water and smell.  He found TactTiles on the internet and invited Tact to carry out the complete project.

The Tact solution to his problems included removing the old and rotting carpet and repairing the floor.  Drainage channels were cut into the floor and the concrete surface was coated in chemical resistant Poolcoat.  Finally, Stone Grey Piazza tiles were laid over the whole area and finished with a wooden edge trim to match the chalet builting. 

At last the lovely chalet building lives up to expectations inside and give the family a clean, safe floor for both exercis and play. No more floor cleaning worries.

Mr Kevin McCourt was looking for a smarter, more durable replacement for the carpet surrounding his pool, which had become old and shabby.  He felt that TactTiles' Piazza system met his key requirements in terms of design and durability, as well as being a surprisingly cost effective solution. 

Kevin was impressed by how quickly the whole job was completed, which involved taking up the old carpet, preparing and sealing the concrete floor and laying and installing the new tiles.  It took only four days in total and there was minimal disruption caused. 

"I'm thrilled to bits with the new tiling system" he commented.  "Beforehand our pool was shabby and felt like a liability.  The new flooring has tranformed the whole pool area and now it feels like an asset again."
