The floor tiles themselves have a range a unique qualities including the ability to be able to be laid and taken up relatively quickly and easily. This feature has seen TactTiles been used for many temporary sports pitches as well as being used by the MOD to park tanks on.

TactTiles sports flooring does not suffer from the normal issues that vinyl or parquet surfaces that both suffer from heavy use, vinyl flooring is only as good as the glue that’s been used and can potentially suffer from bubbling. Furthermore parquet and wooden floors require constant temperature control which can cause serious maintenance issues if unmaintained. In contrast TactTiles sports floors require little or no regular maintenance or management and if perhaps the surface is damaged it can be easily and quickly replaced a tile at a time as necessary with use of our tile lifting tool. This ensures that long term maintenance costs are kept to an absolute minimum.

TactTiles sports tiles come in a variety of colours, many of clients have in the past selected our tennis court tiles and then requested markings for soccer, basketball and netball courts. The strong colours available in our range of sports floor tiles means that you can demarcate certain games or courts. If you require a sports area of over 500 square metres then we offer a bespoke surface where you can have the tiles in the colour of your choice, perhaps to compliment your sports club, leisure centre or hotel branding. Take-Away Tennis Courts are now available from Tact Enviro where planning permission can be an issue for your court installation. The entire court is made of temporary items with low environmental impact. The side netting is also removable and held tight by guy ropes.
